My role in the project focused on building and refining the Unreal Engine 5 environments used across the campaign. I was responsible for assembling the initial layouts in UE5 based on creative direction and pre-visualisation, ensuring that spaces felt realistic, functional, and production-ready. This included sourcing and curating appropriate 3D assets from libraries such as Evermotion, selecting props and architectural elements that matched the desired style and level of realism. With much help from the team, I learnt to handle the lighting setup for interior scenes, balancing real-world accuracy with the practical needs of virtual production. Finally, I configured cameras within UE5 to match on-set requirements, helping to establish composition, framing, and continuity between virtual and practical elements. My work helped create flexible, believable digital environments that integrated seamlessly into the hybrid production workflow.
